San Jose, CA — November 21st, 2024 — At San Jose’s SAP Center, fans gathered to witness the show stopping, last show of the Casa Gómez: Otro Capítulo Tour.

The Show started with an amazing, fun set from DJ Awsumo(Freddy Quintana),who is also Becky G’s cousin as well as the essential DJ of her live shows. Not just being related but also being part of her performances form the very beginning, he knew how to get the crowd ready for Becky’s arrival to the sold out SAP show! There were line dances in the aisle, to couples dancing together intimately. There was a wide variety of classic hits being played especially “El Sonidito” by the Hechizeros Band. That got everyone out of their seats dancing.

After Awsumo’s electrifying set, Becky G’s silhouette appeared through the shadow of the western city block that was set up on the stage. The speakers boomed with “MALA SANTA” as the lights flashed getting the fans excited to finally see the doors open to reveal Becky G. the crowd screamed as the doors finally opened, singing every word that Becky was singing.

Throughout the concert, Becky connected with the fans. In between songs she would share stories about her upbringing, her family, and the struggles that were faced in the industry.One moment in particular was when she was talking about her quick journey of selling our arenas across the country and the whole SAP Center erupted in chanting her name. As she continued to talking about “QUERIDO ABUELO”. Which brought tears to both her and the audience.

In true Bay Area fashion, San Jose brought the energy. So much that Becky G herself even performed a new unreleased song. Before performing, Becky reminisced on last year’s tour and how much San Jose was her favorite stop.

In this last show of the tour, Becky took San Jose through her discography. Including fan favorites like “CHANEL” and the 2014 pop hit “Shower”. Each song was accompanied by choreography that elevated the performance. Her backup dancers added that layer of excitement that got the crowd cheering. The Casa Gómez: Otro Capítulo Tour was truly an immaculate show. And San Jose brought both the energy and vibes to make it the most memorable one.
